The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision is widely recognized as one of the nation’s largest providers of comprehensive and medically necessary healthcare services. These services are provided to approximately 56,000 offenders housed within 60 New York State correctional facilities located statewide. There are many exceptional contracting opportunities for Board Certified Speciality Care Providers within NYS DOCCS. Healthcare is provided within the confines of a correctional facility, in safe and modern health care clinic environment. Specialty Care Providers will see a wide variety of medical cases, via an evaluation process, with time for patient education and follow-up care. DOCCS Health Services is currently seeking Board Certified Specialty Care Physicians and Ancillary Service Providers that are dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care in concert with contemporary community standards.
