Repeal of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Correctional Annex designation for a portion of Marcy Correctional Facility (Section 100.126(a) of 7 NYCRR)

Description: To remove the designation of a portion of Marcy Correctional Facility as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Correctional Annex (ASATCA) to reflect the termination of that practice at the facility.


Sub-division (a) of section 100.126 of Title 7 NYCRR is hereby repealed and reserved.

Section 100.126. Alcohol and substance abuse treatment correctional annexes (ASATCA).

[(a) Marcy ASATCA.
(1) There shall be in the department an institution to be known as the Marcy ASATCA, which shall be located on the grounds of Marcy Correctional Facility in the Town of Marcy, Oneida County, New York.
(2) Marcy ASATCA shall be a correctional facility for males 16 years of age or older.
(3) Marcy ASATCA shall be classified as a medium security correctional facility, to be used for the purposes of alcohol and substance abuse treatment and as a general confinement facility.]
