Alan Hevesi Granted Release by the Board of Parole
Release date is expected in the coming weeks

MARCY - Alan Hevesi, an inmate at the Mid-State Correctional Facility in Marcy, New York (Oneida County), was granted release by the New York State Board of Parole following his November 14, 2012 appearance. Hevesi could be released as soon as December 19, 2012 or earlier following the completion of a routine community preparation investigation. He is scheduled to remain under community supervision through April 14, 2015.

Inmate Hevesi is 72-years old and is serving a 1-to-4-year sentence out of New York County for Receiving Reward for Official Misconduct. He was received into the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision on April 15, 2011 with an earliest release date of April 14, 2012, a conditional release date of December 14, 2013, and a maximum-expiration date of April 14, 2015. His first appearance before the Board of Parole in November, 2011 resulted in denial. A copy of the 2011 Parole Board transcript is attached. During his incarceration, Hevesi was confined at the Mid-State Correctional Facility’s Protective Custody Unit and he received only one misbehavior report for refusing a direct order on August 9, 2012.
